Who Am I?
Well, as the top of the page says, my name is Mario Maiale. I started this past quarter at Drexel University as a Digital Media major, under the Certificate Program for post-bachelor studies. My goal is to end up in the Master's program. Ever since I was young, my goal was to get into the game design field, as to what aspect I'd like to partake in is still up in the air.
That's me to the right, I look either really serious or really bored. You be the judge.
It's the best image I could find of myself that said "artist". Or "person trying to not fall asleep at his desk". Either way, I like the image, I'm not smiling like a lunatic.

Web Design Experience
I've got a long history with web design. I first learned HTML and CSS back in my sophomore year of undergrad at LaSalle University. On top of that, I learned JavaScript and XML throughout the rest of my tenure there. In my spare time since I graduated, I've dabbled with HTML5 in an attempt to better understand it. I've also done some freelance work for several clients.
Hobbies, Interests, Weird Facts
As if the previous statement didn't clear it up, one of my hobbies is gaming. Nothing is more relaxing than sitting back on a couch in front of a television, controller in hand, and knocking out a few rounds of whatever new game I'm currently playing (although, if you replace couch with lounge chair, controller with a beer, and the television with a pool, that is definitely more relaxing). I'm also a bit of a movie buff, which I blame on all my friends who were film majors at Temple. Now I can tell you who directed what movie, who wrote it, and whether or not there were continuity errors throughout. One of my favoite hobbies is drawing. Give me a sketchbok and a pencil and I can waste an entire day sketching.
Just last night I drew this, which is me in 16-bit form. Awesome right?
